Contract: Afton Windfarm

Contract Status: On Going

On this contract Celmisa were contracted by Farrans Construction to undertake a wide scope of works which included:

  • Construction Of 6 wind turbine bases and associated crane pads and laydown areas  
  • Removal of peat and creation of peat storage cells  
  • Control and placement of quarried materials
  • Construction of permanent and temporary roads
  • Construction of floating roads using geogrid and geotextiles 
  • Construction of suds drainage ponds
  • Installation of V shaped drainage ditching
